Following the disbanding of the Wirral Programme Club at the end of the
2004/05 season a new body has taken over the judging for the annual
programme awards. Programme Monthly magazine is the new adjudicator.
They, just like there forebearers twelve months earlier have voted the
Warrington Town match programme as the best in the UniBond League from
those entered. In addition it was placed thirteenth nationally for which
everyone at Town are justifiably proud. Only two issues outside the
Conference finished higher than Town which is a remarkable achievement.
Exeter City of the Nationwide Conference were the overall winners, the
third consecutive occasion. Everyone involved with the programme at Town
are hopeful of getting a hattrick of such honours too. The programme is
written, printed and produced in house at the club. It makes all the
hours spent compiling it worthwhile
