Warrington Town FC is delighted to announce a major new multi-year partnership with GXO, which will see the club’s Cantilever Park home renamed The GXO Stadium.
The agreement represents a significant commercial partnership for the club, with GXO becoming the official naming rights partner of the stadium from the 2026/27 season.
GXO is one of the world’s largest pure-play contract logistics providers and has a significant presence in Warrington, employing people from across the town and surrounding area.
As part of the multi-year agreement, the GXO Stadium name will feature prominently throughout the ground, including new external and internal stadium branding, as well as across the club’s digital platforms, matchday communications and marketing.
Warrington Town chairman Toby Macormac said: “We’re delighted to welcome GXO as the new naming rights partner of our home.
“This is a significant agreement for Warrington Town and one which reflects the progress we continue to make as a football club.
“GXO has a major presence locally, so it was particularly important to us that a partnership of this scale was with a business that has genuine links to Warrington and its community.
"The GXO Stadium marks the next chapter for our home and this partnership will help us continue investing in the club and its future. We’re looking forward to working closely with the team at GXO over the coming years and welcoming them into the Warrington Town family.”
Gavin Williams, Managing Director, GXO UK&I, said: “Warrington has been an important base for our logistics operations for many years and we’re delighted to strengthen our connection with the town through our partnership with Warrington Town FC.
"As a local employer, we’re passionate about supporting communities and creating opportunities for local people, and the club is a fantastic example of the pride and ambition that exists across the area.
"We'd like to wish the players, staff and supporters every success for the new season.”
Part of the new GXO branding was already in place for the season opener against Hyde United, with the remainder now in place in time for the next home game against Curzon Ashton next Tuesday, August 25.
The club would like to thank GXO for its commitment to Warrington Town and looks forward to a successful partnership over the coming years.
We would also like to thank their stadium naming right predecessors Cal.Delivery for their support over the past two seasons, and look forward to continuing to work with them on other community projects.
