Another home friendly arranged – plus trip to Padiham

A fourth home pre-season friendly has been added to the schedule – against Salford City Under 23s this Saturday (12pm kick-off).

The game had originally been due to be played at Salford on Friday night, but will now take place at Cantilever Park the following day.

Paul Carden’s side will also make the trip to Padiham on Tuesday September 8 (7.45pm kick-off).

Southport are in town for tonight’s latest pre-season outing, when up to 600 fans are permitted to be in attendance.

Ticket sales have already surpassed the 300 sell-out that saw Friday night’s 3-2 win over City of Liverpool.

As well as the aforementioned two friendlies to come, the Yellows will also host National League North side AFC Fylde on Saturday September 12.
