Bohan Dixon: We’ll be ready for Radcliffe

Warrington Town midfielder Bohan Dixon believes the Yellows squad will be ready for a battle this weekend as they prepare to visit in-form Radcliffe.

Since the turn of the year, the Boro have been in fine form, winning nine of their 13 league matches and losing just once.

Such form has seen them leapfrog the Yellows in the Northern Premier League table ahead of their showdown at the Neuven Stadium on Saturday.

Dixon, who has been in fine form recently, insists the Yellows must approach each game with the correct mindset if they want to extend their unbeaten run in the league.

“Personally I look forward to the big games, and Radcliffe is a big test,” he said.

“They have quality and so do we. We will be ready to play them and everyone else to get promoted out of this league.

“We just concentrate on ourselves. If we prepare right, we can beat anyone.

“We have everything in this squad to get promoted, but preparation is key because it isn’t going to be gifted to us.

“Hopefully, come the end of season, we can gift supporters a break-dancing battle between Bees and Buckley to celebrate!”

Dixon also believes perspective is needed as the squad looks to kick on ahead of a crucial sequence of fixtures.

“I think we have been strong this season, dominating the majority of games we’ve played,” he added.

“South Shields are a full-time squad who have run away with the league this year, but take them out the equation and we are right up there in the mix.”
