Dan Atherton departs from Warrington Town

Warrington Town can confirm that goalkeeper Dan Atherton will be leaving the club this summer.

Atherton, 22, made 49 appearances last season, helping the Yellows reach the NPL play-off final.

The club offered Atherton a new deal for 2022/23, but he has chosen to pursue an offer in the Welsh Premier League.

Terms have already been agreed with a new goalkeeper and this and other new signings will be announced in the build up to the opening home friendly against Tranmere Rovers on July 9.
