Evan Gumbs heads out on loan

Warrington Town defender Evan Gumbs has joined Runcorn Linnets on a short-term loan.

Gumbs, 24, made his first appearance of the season in Tuesday night’s game against Basford United, and will spend time with the NPL West Division Linnets to regain match fitness.

The former Tranmere man will link up with brother Eden, who is already part of Calum McIntyre’s squad.
