In pictures: Warrington Town promoted to National League North

Monday 1 May 2023. A memorable day in the history of Warrington Town Football Club.

The Yellows sealed promotion to the National League North for the first time with a dramatic 1-0 win over Bamber Bridge at a packed Cantilever Park.

Isaac Buckley-Ricketts came off the bench to score the winner, turning home Jay Harris’ shot and squeezing it beyond the Brig goalkeeper and into the bottom left corner.

Jubilant scenes soon accompanied the full-time whistle as players, fans and coaching staff celebrated the club’s achievement together.
