Josh Seary: I’m learning every day

Warrington Town right-back Josh Seary says his time at the club has been a positive learning curve.

The 18-year-old initially joined on a three-month loan on the eve of the 2022/23 season.

A standout performer on a weekly basis, Seary’s loan deal was recently extended until the beginning of January.

To date, he has made 24 appearances in all competitions.

Discussing his time at the club, he said: “It’s good. I’m playing well and I think the fans like me, so I’m doing something right!

“Going on loan was a big thing for me because I felt like I needed men’s football to help me boost up football-wise.

“When I come back, the aim is to go back with the first team and prove what I can do.”

Seary also admits that the opportunity to feature alongside, and learn from a number of experienced players has aided his recent development.

“Some of the players have played at Wembley, in play-offs, big games,” he added.

“To learn from them, not just on the field but off the field, has been good. I’m learning every day.”

Josh has been an absolute credit to himself and PNE, he plays his heart out every game and that playing for Warrington means something to him. He will be missed when he returns to his club, hopefully he can achieve everything he wants to in the game. Thanks for all your efforts.
