Play-off semi-final ticket information

Warrington Town will be at home in the play-off semi-finals, to be played at Cantilever Park on Tuesday 25th April (7.45pm kick-off).

We are expecting a large crowd so the game will be all-ticket and they must be purchased online ahead of the game.

The gate ticket prices will therefore be in place for this game, with gate receipts shared between the two participating clubs and the Northern Premier League.

Adult – £12
Concessions – £8
Juniors – £3

Season Tickets are not valid for this fixture.

How to purchase tickets

*Please note there are some changes to the below from what was initially announced*

There will be an exclusive priority window for Season Ticket holders to purchase two tickets from Saturday evening until 7pm on Sunday. Season Ticket holders will receive an email today with instructions on how to purchase tickets once they are released.

Tickets will then go on sale to Yellows email subscribers – an access code will be sent to purchase tickets from 7pm on Sunday (April 23).

The remaining tickets, including an allocation reserved for the away team, will go on general sale from 9am on Monday (April 24) via the usual channel at www.warringtontownfc.co.uk/tickets

Make sure you purchase the correct ticket

We are aware of a handful of people who have been entering, or attempting to enter, the ground using the wrong ticket type. These people are plainly robbing their own club of revenue that could otherwise be put towards driving the club forward.

Anybody found to be trying to enter the ground using the wrong ticket type on Tuesday will not be permitted entry. ID checks will be in place where appropriate.

For the avoidance of doubt, Concessions apply to those aged 65 or over, or who are still in full-time education. A Junior ticket is for those aged 16 or under on the day of the game. If you do not fit in to either of those two categories, you must purchase an Adult ticket.

Pyrotechnics

Unfortunately, there have been a couple of incidents this season of illegal flares and smoke bombs being released at Warrington Town fixtures.

As a result, the club is now facing a fine – which again, robs the club of much-needed revenue.

We thank the large majority of our fans for their behaviour and vocal support of the team, both home and away, this season.

Who will the play-off semi-final be against?

The opponents are as yet unconfirmed and will be dependent on what happens in the final round of regular season fixtures this weekend. It will be one of Gainsborough Trinity, Hyde United, Radcliffe or Matlock Town.

If the Yellows beat Hyde on Saturday, they will be guaranteed second place in the table. This would also mean the final would be at home if the Yellows were to make it.

The team finishing second will play at home against the team finishing fifth. That spot is currently occupied by Hyde (66pts, +24 goal difference) with Radcliffe (66pts, +7) and Matlock Town (65pts, +6) on their tails.

Gainsborough will almost certainly finish 4th, due to their superior goal difference, so that means they will be away to the third placed team. Bamber Bridge are currently third, a point behind the Yellows.

These are the games on the final weekend to keep an eye on:

Bamber Bridge v Ashton United
Gainsborough v FC United
Marine v Matlock Town
Nantwich Town v Radcliffe
Warrington Town v Hyde United

We are also encouraging fans to purchase their tickets online for this Saturday’s final home league fixture against Hyde United, with a large crowd expected. A sizeable away following will be in attendance as the Tigers look to secure their play-off spot.
