Having come on as a late substitute on Tuesday night, Dec Walker could feature again as he continues to work his way back to full fitness.

Forward Jordan Buckley will be assessed but remains a doubt for Saturday’s fixture.

The Yellows will also be without Matty McDonald (knee), Andy White (foot), Josh Amis (knee) and Jay Harris (groin) as they continue to recover from their respective injuries.

Midfielder Bohan Dixon will also miss out as he serves the first of a three-match suspension incurred following his red card against Blyth Spartans last weekend.

Manager Mark Beesley has praised the belief and team spirit that his squad have displayed so far, but insists his team need to maintain these attributes as they face more adversity throughout the season.

“We spoke about it before the game [against Buxton] about having that belief and that confidence to work for each other,” he said.

“We’ve got a good team spirit and a good group of players. The new lads who are arriving – Aaron Bennett and Peter Clarke, they’ve come into something and they’re happy with it.

“You can see it within the group about the way we’re working for each other.

“But it’s a start – we’ve had three games and already we’ve all seen how tough this league is. We can’t be anything but 100% at it, otherwise we won’t win any games.”
