Preview: Radcliffe vs Warrington Town

Another tough test lies ahead for Warrington Town as they put their 19-game unbeaten record on the line against Radcliffe on Tuesday night.

It promises to be an intriguing clash between two in-form sides fighting for promotion from the Northern Premier League.

The reverse fixture saw the Yellows run out 1-0 winners at Cantilever Park thanks to a fine early goal from Stefan Mols.

Midfielder Sean Williams is back in contention after serving a three-game ban following his red card against Bamber Bridge last month.

There are no fresh injury concerns for boss Mark Beesley, who may look to rotate some of his squad ahead of a busy Easter period.

Mark Beesley preview

Warrington Town manager Mark Beesley insists his players must be on top of their game if they want to get a result against Radcliffe.

Boro would leapfrog the Yellows with a win at the Neuven Stadium, while Town know that they could put further pressure on the teams above if they manage to win their all-important game in hand.

“They’re an excellent team, I watched them a few weeks ago,” Beesley said.

“They don’t give much away and have some really good players, so it’ll be a really tough game for us.”
