Preview: Warrington Town vs Marske United

Warrington Town return to home soil this weekend as Marske United prepare to visit Cantilever Park in the Northern Premier League.

After back-to-back trips to Guiseley and Whitby Town, the Yellows will play at home for the first time since a 3-1 victory over South Shields at the end of October secured their passage to the second round of the FA Trophy.

Victory on Saturday could see the Yellows climb up to second in the league table, depending on the outcome of other matches.

Defender Josh Seary has urged his side to forget about their midweek defeat at Whitby and instead focus on their upcoming sequence of home matches.

Saturday’s game is the first of four successive fixtures at Cantilever Park for the Yellows in all competitions.

“We’ve got to put that result behind us because we’ve been playing well and winning games,” he said.

“We’re still high on confidence and full of belief that we can bounce back again.

“We just need to get ourselves ready for Saturday.”
