Wall signs ahead of Super Sunday

The Yellows have signed winger Luke Wall from Altrincham, ahead of Sunday’s game at home to Matlock Town.

Wall, 22, moved to the National League North side from Witton Albion earlier this season after catching the eye of manager Phil Parkinson.

He started his career at Blackburn Rovers, before moving on to Accrington Stanley.

In the 2017/18 season, he played in the Europa League for Welsh side Bangor City, scoring five goals in 30 appearances in his stint with the Welsh club.

Wall spent much of last season with Curzon Ashton in National League North, scoring five goals in 24 appearances.

Since joining Altrincham back in October, he has made 12 appearances.

His registration was confirmed by the Northern Premier League ahead of Saturday’s deadline, and so he is contention to make his Yellows debut against Matlock at Cantilever Park on Sunday afternoon.
