Warrington Town chairman holds fans forum

Last week, club chairman Toby Macormac hosted a fans forum.

He addressed some of the challenges facing the club, provided insight on how the club is run and funded, as well as providing some aspirations for the future.

Data was provided on budgets and attendances, which have almost doubled since the club’s first season in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

This season’s average to date is 536, placing us 9th in the Premier Division. This is up from 282 in 2016/17.

Questions were taken from the floor on a range of issues, including playing staff, food provision, volunteering and fundraising efforts.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank fans who came out to attend the fans forum and ask questions, and hope that they found it useful.

A similar event with manager Mark Beesley will be held later in the season.

I missed the event because I had the covid virus.
