Warrington Town to face Tranmere Rovers in pre-season

Warrington Town will host Football League Two side Tranmere Rovers at Cantilever Park on Saturday, July 24, in a pre-season friendly.

The fixture will kick-off at 3:00pm, and will be one of four home friendlies for Paul Carden’s side ahead of the Pitching In Northern Premier League 2021/22 season.

The Yellows faced Tranmere at Prenton Park during the 2020/21 pre-season, coming away with a 0-3 victory thanks to goals from Jordan Buckley, Bohan Dixon and Jack Mackreth.

Tickets for this year’s fixture will be announced in due course.
