Yellows release Eddie Clarke

Warrington Town have released Eddie Clarke by mutual consent.

Clarke has made 42 appearances for the club since making his debut against FC United of Manchester in November 2020.

The club has helped him to rehab from two serious injuries, including one in the summer sustained when on trial with another club.

Warrington Town chairman Toby Macormac said: “Eddie’s focus has not been to the level we require recently, and with limited resources and a small squad this can have an adverse effect.

“The decision was not taken lightly and we wish Eddie all the best for the future.”

The club continues to support Mikey Howard, Jack Mackreth and Mo Ali in their rehab from their respective serious injuries sustained while playing for the Yellows.
