Preview: King’s Lynn Town vs Warrington Town

Warrington Town are back on the road this weekend, making the long trip to Norfolk to face King’s Lynn Town in the National League North. 

It promises to be a crucial fixture for both sides, with a win enough to see the Yellows move 10 points clear of the relegation zone as the festive football schedule continues for Mark Beesley and his squad.

Connor Woods and Bohan Dixon begin their respective three and two-games bans following the red cards receiving during the club’s 2-1 defeat at Hereford earlier this month.

On-loan wide man Josh Popoola is expected to return after shaking off the illness which ruled him out of the Yellows’ recent 4-0 home win against Scarborough Athletic.

Jay Harris is in line to make his first league start of the season, and veteran defender Peter Clarke could also return after missing the last two games with a shoulder injury.
